Marsha McCloskey created this nifty, multi-purpose, 6-1/2" ruler to cut perfect 1-1/2", 2-1/2", 3-1/2", 4-1/2", 5-1/2" and 6-1/2" squares. What I find most useful is the ability to square-up half-square and quarter-square triangle blocks using the diagonal markings running in both directions. This ruler is also perfect for centering applique or fabric motifs and trimming points for easy matching on 45° angles.
